Industry blasts proposal to allow private manipulation suits in US electricity markets
Electricity companies are alarmed about a proposal by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to allow private parties to file lawsuits alleging manipulation in power markets, saying the move would set off a torrent of litigation.
