France and Germany seeking greater Fatca reciprocity before signing IGAs, expert says

Two of the original five Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (Fatca) partners require a greater level of reciprocity with the US in order to sign their intergovernmental agreements (IGAs), one legal expert says.

France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK were the first to signal their intent to become Fatca partners and sign IGAs with the US. But to date, only the UK and Spain have signed agreements
