Structured Products Americas: Mis-selling a bigger issue than regulation, says panel

A panel of regulators, trade association leaders and lawyers opened this year's Structured Products Americas conference with opinions on how best to regulate the market. Tense market conditions in 2012, largely attributed to the economic malaise hanging over Europe, calmed towards the end of the year, as equity markets took a turn upwards and investors opted for a risk-on approach.
