ABN launches primary markets platform on Bloomberg

ABN Amro has today launched a new service for trading primary debt issues on Bloomberg terminals.

The bank expects to market about five deals a week on the platform, which will initially be used for vanilla primary bond issues. “We’re looking at fixed- and floating-rate financials, corporates, emerging market, supranationals, sovereigns, covered bonds, agencies and local market eurobonds,” says Paul White, global head of debt syndicate for ABN Amro in London.
