Federal regulators release QIS4 summary findings

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Office of Thrift Supervision have released the findings of the fourth quantitative impact study (QIS4). The study was initiated to gain a better understanding of the potential effects of a Basel II-based regulatory capital regime specific to US institutions.
