Bank consolidation to affect lending


International research-based consulting firm Greenwich Associates believes European companies will find it harder to obtain credit as international investment banks search for greater market share.

Greenwich Associates consultant Robert Statius Muller believes that while European corporates enjoy relatively abundant supplies of capital, they should take careful note of the rising market share among international banks and the long-term trend towards fewer corporate banking relationships.
