Structured products may offer China A-share premium

Dealers are mulling how to exploit a new series of indexes that track the premium in the pricing of A shares listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets over the comparable H shares listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange.

The indexes will help investors track the performance of those companies that have both mainland China-listed A shares and Hong Kong-listed H shares. The so-called 'China AH Index Series' will include the Hang Seng China AH Premium Index (AH Premium Index), an index
