UK providers keep the faith with capital-at-risk products

Capital-at-risk products continue to dominate in the UK market, although sole reliance on the FTSE 100 index as an underlying has fallen. However, the UK benchmark is often included in products that link to more than one index or stock

Eleven issuers created 60 new products for the UK market in March, with Investec once again taking top spot with a near 20% market share. StartPoint Investments and Meteor were the second most active providers, each with 11.33% of the market. Meteor's rise is notable, with the plan manager showing a 10% rise in products from March. Societe Generale continued to make its mark with a market share of more than 10%.
