Private banks are increasingly looking at structured products to complement fixed-income portfolios to provide clients with protection from potential curve steepening and rising long-term interest rates, as investors remain unsure about the fate of the equity markets in the region, according to panellists at the 2013 Structured Products Asia conference in Hong Kong.
