BBVA is to add volatility sub-index to its Jim Rogers’ resources index to create structured products

BBVA plans to launch a sub-index to its global resources index with better risk-controlled access to the sector

More controlled resources risk

Spanish bank Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) is to launch a sub-index to its Rogers Global Resources Equity Index (RGREI) to allow investors better risk-controlled access to the index's potential upside.

The Volatility Plus Index will be the second sub-index to the RGREI. It will consist of highly liquid shares from 30 companies in key commodity sectors within the main index to create capital-protected deposits and funds around it aimed at investors wanting to capture the potential upside
