UK Wrap: Walker Crips offers new at risk growth plan

There was a bumper issuance of 24 structured products last week, thanks mainly to Investec launching its 11th collection of plans.

Growth and at risk products dominated the scene. Emblematic of this more risk taking and confident mood was Walker Crips latest plan.

The Stepped Growth Plan 1 offers a fixed return of either 25% if the FTSE 100 index is at or above the initial level, 50% if the index has risen by 25% or 75% if the index has risen by 50% or more at maturity.

The five-year non-principal protected product has a 50% soft protection barrier but once this level is breached capital is lost in line with the index.
