US Wrap: Accelerated growth products gather momentum

Accelerated growth products dominated market activity in the US again yesterday as their issuance continues to gather pace. However, exposure is widening beyond US equity, as a note from Deutsche Bank showed.

The structure links to two funds which together make up an internationally representative portfolio, including the iShares MSCI Eafe Index fund, which incorporates global equity performance, and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index Fund. It incorporates a 15% downside buffer and pays 110% participation in the funds, which are equally weighted in the basket, over three years, up to cap of between 51.7-57.2%.
