SG fund-linked note plays it safe in Singapore

French bank Societe Generale has launched the Flight-to-Safety Guaranteed Note in Singapore, which offers exposure to a basket of actively managed global bond funds that invest mainly in investment-grade fixed-income securities.

The five-year principal-guaranteed note is linked to three underlying funds: the Pimco Gis Total Return Bond Fund, the Credit Agricole Asset Management Obligations Internationales US Dollar and the Templeton Global Bond Fund US Dollar.
