Tremont expands hedge fund database
Tremont Advisers, a consulting and information provider for the alternative investment business, has expanded its Tass commercial hedge fund database. It has introduced a range of online tools making it easier for managers to register their funds for the database, update information and perform selected analytics.
Tass has also set up web-based data capabilities for hedge fund managers, which will allow them to register for a Tass Database listing online. They can also use the web service to update their performance or any other information carried by the database.
In addition, the new web utilities will allow managers to conduct peer group analysis and conduct benchmark comparisons online.
