Korean warrant market rockets

The Korean warrant market has easily outperformed expectations since its launch on December 1 and may eventually exceed the size of the Hong Kong warrant market, many market participants feel.

Korean warrant-market turnover as of January 20 was around US$72 million and overall trading volume was 51.4 million - both figures some six times those on December 1, when turnover was $12.2 million and volume 8.5 million.
