Interbank confidence falls in the US, rises in Europe

Overnight dollar Libor was up to 1.16% today, following yesterday's Thanksgiving celebrations, from 0.99% on Wednesday. In Europe, sterling Libor rose to 3.01% from 3%, while euro Libor moved from 2.9% to 2.94%.

The Ted spread, the difference between three-month dollar Libor and three-month US Treasury bill yields, had risen to 2.18% at 14:45 GMT from a close of 2.16% yesterday.
