
Three more issuers look to enter HK warrants market
Sources say Citic, KIS and Huatai preparing to launch warrants and CBBCs on HKEX

Citic Securities and Korea Investment & Securities are preparing to become issuers in Hong Kong’s burgeoning listed structured products market, according to two industry sources. A third firm, Huatai Securities, is also said to be eyeing a possible move into the market in the near future.
However, sources say dwindling turnover on derivatives warrants and callable bull and bear certificates (CBBCs) could make it difficult for new entrants if the trend does not begin to reverse next year.
