International Petroleum Exchange (IPE)

Formerly an independent London energy exchange, the IPE became a wholly owned subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in June 2001. Its name has since changed to Intercontinental Exchange Futures Europe and trading has been shifted onto an electronic trading platform. This exchange has futures and options contracts for energy products including Brent blend crude oil, gasoil natural gas, electricity (baseload and peakload), coal contracts and carbon emission allowances.
