IntercontinentalExchange (ICE)

Atlanta, Georgia-based ICE operates leading regulated exchanges, trading platforms and clearing houses serving global markets for agricultural, credit, currency, emissions, energy and equity index markets.

ICE has expanded its business into several markets since it was established in May 2000. In July 2010, ICE acquired the Climate Exchange, a leader in the development of traded emissions markets.


In addition, ICE operates swap data repository (SDR) and trade repository services, as well as central counterparties (CCPs).
