Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX)

Greenhouse gas emissions trading exchange; designed for voluntary emissions reductions and trading for all six greenhouse gases. The CCX administers the first multinational and multisector market for reducing and trading greenhouse gas emissions. The CCX is a self-regulatory, rules-based exchange designed and governed by CCX members that have made a voluntary, legally binding commitment to reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases.
