Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER)

The EU body created by the Third Energy Package to progress the completion of a single EU gas and power market. Responsible for several initiatives including co-operation of European transmission system operators, network codes and also the Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency (REMIT) rules.
