José Alfredo Jiménez has a Ph.D. in Banking and Quantitative Finance at University of Valencia in Spain. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. His main research interests are actuarial mathematics, financial risk management and portfolio management. He has published several articles in statistics of financial markets and actuarial mathematics.
