Biliana Alexandrova-Kabadjova

Biliana Alexandrova-Kabadjova has been working at the Banco de México since February 1997 and currently she is a payment systems analyst.  She obtained her first degree with honors on Information Systems at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in 1996. Alexandrova-Kabadjova received her Master in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Computational Finance both from the University of Essex, UK in 2003 and in 2007. She has co-edited the books “Simulation in Computational Finance and Economics: Tools and emerging applications” and “Analyzing the Economics of Financial Market Infrastructures,” as well as publishing thirty-four refereed journal papers and book chapters. Alexandrova-Kabadjova is a permanent member of the Mexican National System of Researchers. Her main research interests are intraday liquidity management, network analysis and agent-based computational economics.
