Crescendo loses its immediate parent

The Crescendo hedge funds managed by Darrell O'Dea and Paul Findlay will remain under the Zurich name although they will lose the Scudder part of their name as a consequence of the Threadneedle buyout in the US by Deutsche. As Hitesh Bharkhda, business development manager for the investment management explained: 'We are losing our immediate parent company but our ultimate parent, Zurich is staying.'
