Risk Is Pushing Banks To Replace Legacy Systems

THIRTY per cent of the UK's financial institutions plan to replace ageing computer systems due to increasing demands for risk management, says a study put out by London-based Braxxon Technology.

Braxxon is a specialist financial services management and consultancy group focusing on the wholesale banking, trading and institutional investment sector.

The study, entitled Drivers and Challenges to Replacing, Migrating and Enhancing Legacy Systems was compiled from a survey of 61 technology directors
