UKFSA issues fraud paper

London -- The UK’s Financial Services Authority (FSA) published a discussion paper in mid-December entitled DP26: Developing our policy on fraud and dishonesty.

The paper launches the tenure of Philip Robinson, the new head of financial crime at the FSA in London. Robin- son took over the job from interim head Clive Briault in December 2003, after Carol Sergeant left the FSA in October having spearheaded the FSA’s drive to reduce the scope for financial crime. Robinson says he will spend quite a bit of his time on financial crime and AML issues, and will have a dedicated team for fighting financial crime.
