Asia Risk interdealer rankings 2010: Dealers

Volatility flare-ups caused by eurozone uncertainty and large fund inflows from the West into Asia were two notable developments in 2010. Despite a return of many leading dealers to the market, those parties that remained committed to Asian derivatives in 2008–09 again came out on top in 2010. The top three banks in the Asia Risk interdealer rankings 2010 remained the same as in 2009 - and in the same order - with BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank and Standard Chartered holding their positions during 2010. The surprise mover was Société Générale, which climbed from an unranked position to number four, leading the pack of trailing banks. However, despite the lack of movement, dealers that last year showed their mettle and continued to service clients have been able to continue building on
