BNP Paribas has redrawn the boundaries of its corporate and investment banking division, under recently appointed head Yann Gérardin. It will be renamed the corporate and institutional banking (CIB) division, reflecting its focus on those two client types.

The institutional franchise contains a new cross-asset global markets business, to be managed directly by Gérardin, with Olivier Osty named
