Gillette leaves SEC after 27 years
Head of Chicago regional office set to join law firm
Merri Jo Gillette, director of the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) Chicago regional office, is to leave the agency later this month.
Gillette oversees a staff of 250 with responsibility for compliance inspections, investigations and enforcement actions in a nine-state area. Her tenure has seen the office conduct risk-targeted examinations to assess industry trends across the region
