Trade of the month: the impact of RDR on structured products
The implementation of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) at the end of this year will represent one of the biggest overhauls of the UK retail investment sector for many years. The two main developments are the abolition of commission charges in favour of fees for advisers that wish to remain independent and a requirement for advisers to consider the whole market when making recommendations.
