Rajaratnam sentenced to 11 years for Galleon insider trading

Galleon insider trader Raj Rajaratnam has been given a record sentence in the US for insider trading

Insider trader Raj Rajaratnam has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for his involvement in the Galleon Group scandal, the longest-ever sentence in the US for an insider trader. The judge in Manhattan's federal court also ordered Rajaratnam to repay $54 million and pay a fine of $10 million.
