Co-ordination in banking and insurance regulatory reform is crucial, according to the latest report from the Institute of International Finance (IIF).

"It is absolutely essential that regulators in today's complex, cross-border financial arena, understand how the interests and operations of insurance companies and banks overlap," says Walter Kielholz, presenter of the report, chair of the IIF
