Three men have been sentenced to a total of 13 years and six months for their part in a phishing scam that attempted to steal more than £1.3 million
Three men in the UK have been convicted of a phishing scam that stole millions of pounds from victims. Ayodeji John Kareem, Vincent Alonge and Babatunde Fafore have been jailed for a total of 13 years and six months for orchestrating the scam.
The scam involved sending emails purporting to be from customers’ banks directing the customers to bogus websites, where they were asked to enter their bank
