Stockton retires from FRB

David Stockton will be retiring from the FRB ths year after 30 years of service

David Stockton, director of the division of research and statistics at the Federal Reserve Board (FRB), will retire on September 30. He has held the post for 11 years, overseeing the division's 325 staff members and responsible for briefing the Federal Open Markets Committee (FOMC) on the outlook for the US economy. He has worked under both Ben Bernanke and Alan Greenspan.
