Risk managers not convinced Basel III will help manage risk
Almost half of Fitch survey respondents say lack of regulatory clarity is the biggest issue facing the risk management industry
Not all risk managers believe the new Basel III regulations will help them manage risk more effectively, according to a survey conducted by Fitch solutions in London. The survey finds 43% of risk managers surveyed are unsure how helpful the changes will be, and 25% firmly believe the regulations will do nothing to improve risk management effectiveness.
