Abbey launches UK secured equity plan
Uk bank Abbey has launched a capital secured UK Equity Investment Plan to complement its continuously available capital guaranteed bonds linked to the FTSE 100, Nikkei 225 and property indexes.
The plan offers to return 130% of any growth in the FTSE 100 Index – averaged over the final six months – if the plan is held for its full term of five years and nine days. It also has two early bonus triggers, which mean that it could mature earlier, after three or four years The plan will mature early, giving a return of 25%, if the FTSE 100 Index has risen by 15% or more on the three-year early
