Newly crowned WRMA president Marty Malinow tells David Watkins that there's fewer than six degrees of separation between life, business and the weather markets

It's a small world, as Marty Malinow knows too well. At the midpoint in his trading career he took 18 months out to market a board game he had invented based on the idea of six degrees of separation in Hollywood.

Players had to connect actors to other actors and movies to movies. Malinow's version, competing with the 1990s college campus phenomenon Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, was popular for a time
