Markit to distribute data on Reuters 3000 Xtra

The new service - the first time Markit has distributed data via a third party - will give Reuters users access to pricing on the iTraxx and CDX indices, as well as end-of-day pricing on other credits

Markit, the pricing and data provider, has struck a deal with Reuters to distribute content over the latter's 3000 Xtra desktop. The desktop, which competes with the Bloomberg terminal and is used by people active across the securities industry, will feature Markit's new Markit Intraday service, a streaming pricing tool for the iTraxx and CDX credit indices.
