NYSE readies new bond trading platform for launch

NYSE Group has gained approval from US regulator, the Securities and Exchange Commission, to trade unlisted debt securities and is awaiting authorisation for NYSE BondsSM, its new electronic fixed-income trading platform based on the stock-trading system of NYSE Arca.

The current system will be expanded to include the corporate debt of all NYSE-listed equity issuers and their wholly owned
