Institute of Operational Risk opens in Australia

SYDNEY - The Institute of Operational Risk (IOR) is reaching across the globe by opening an Australian chapter, its first public expansion outside the UK.

The Institute separated from the Operational Risk Research Forum in 2004, when the Forum became a for-profit organisation. The IOR promotes the study of op risk as a discipline rather than a career path, and is dedicated to developing standards, networking, training and education in op risk management.
