So long, silos

Despite enterprise risk management being lauded as the nirvana of risk management, financial services firms have done little to implement a working ERM framework. But other industries have embraced the concept. Victoria Pennington ask what financial services firms can learn from them

Enterprise risk management (ERM) is not new, the concept has been around for more than a decade. But recent market volatility has renewed the view that companies, specifically financial services, need to take a more holistic view of risk.
