Slowed down by the watchdog

US regulator the Securities and Exchange Commission doesn't make it easy for issuers to list structured products on US exchanges. Daniel Sheehan examines the problems exchanges and banks are having bringing products to market

There were 382 structured products listed on the American Stock Exchange (Amex) as of the end of June 2006, up from 330 at the start of the year.
