CESR to consult on Ucits hedge fund indexes
The Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR) will consult further on whether hedge fund indexes fall within the definition of financial indexes. The level 2 implementation directive is expected to be published this month, with an open hearing on the proposals due to be held on April 2. The deadline for responses is April 16. The CESR expects to publish the final level 3 measures in May
