Asian structured finance issuance rises to $29 billion, says Moody's

Rating agency examines growth in Asian securitisation markets

Moody's Investors Service said in September that estimated issuance in Asia's structured finance markets in the first half of 2007 - excluding Japan, Australia and regional cross-border derivatives - grew to $29.1 billion from $25.5 billion in the first half of 2006. If derivatives are included, the total surpasses $30 billion.
