Structured products need better explanation, says HK regulator

Hong Kong Securities & Futures Commission survey highlights issues

While Hong Kong retail investors in structured products are generally experienced in financial investing, their understanding of such products needs strengthening, found the Hong Kong Securities & Futures Commission (SFC) in a recent survey (see also page 16).
