BondsInAsia is now the region’s only electronic bond trading platform following the acquisition of its only web-based competitor. Chief executive Albert Cobetto talks to Mia Trinephi

The past year has been good for BondsInAsia. The pan-Asian electronic bond trading platform went live in November 2001, absorbed its main competitor in May and boasted $15 billion in turnover in the first 10 months of 2002. The web-based electronic trading platform is now rolling out the latest version of its proprietary trading platform, called BTX, and is hoping to capture about 20–25% of total
