Computer Hardware Bug Disrupts Trading On London Stock Exchange
THE London Stock Exchange (LSE) started almost one hour late on Wednesday, November 5, due to a failure of one of the exchange's computer systems.
The failure meant that orders entered into the LSE's trading services could not be executed and prices were not broadcast on traders' screens.
A spokesperson for the exchange says the failure occurred on a Tandem Computer system used to support the LSE's
