WBOT blows off course
Atlanta-based Weather Board of Trade (WBOT), an online weather derivatives exchange that is not yet operational, encountered a number of setbacks last month – including confusion over just which institutions are backing the project.
WBOT missed its planned February 2003 launch date. The exchange originally planned to launch in October 2002 but put back its plans after encountering problems
