Moody's: Asian structured ratings more stable than global trend

Ratings for structured finance transactions in Asia-Pacific show greater stability than those globally, says credit rating agency Moody's Investors Service.

"The historical average 12-month downgrade rate of Asia-Pacific structured finance ratings was 1.7% versus 3.9% for global structured finance, whereas the average 12-month upgrade rate was 3.0% in Asia-Pacific versus 4.2% globally," says Jian Hu, Moody's New York-based director of structured finance default research.
