Electricity pylons

In an order issued on October 3, 2011, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Ferc) has asked energy companies in the Pacific Northwest (a region located to the north of California, including the states of Oregon and Washington) to submit evidence showing the impact of the energy crisis that wreaked havoc on the US west coast in 2000 and 2001 on the region's spot prices. The order is a result of a 2007 US Court of Appeals decision.
